WillyPop Music+Production is a full service, music production company that will write/co-write songs in all pop styles, track, edit, mix, record and master those radio-ready pop hits for both English and Spanish mainstream music markets.

WillyPop Music+Production is led by 40-year music industry veteran Willy Perez-Feria, a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, The Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame where he serves as part of their “all-Star” band, N.A.R.A.S., a voting member of The Grammy’s, a voting member of The Latin Grammys, MusicCares Foundation, Broadcast Music Inc. and is a five-time recipient of a Grammy participation award for works included on Grammy winning records including “Pop Album of the Year” and “Tropical Album of the Year”.

Willy Perez-Feria aka “WillyPop” is an experienced and celebrated music producer/songwriter, Record Label Executive and A&R Director specializing in all forms of English and Spanish language pop music! His company name says it all, WillyPop Music+Production.

Perez-Feria is widely hailed as a successful, talented & much-admired producer/songwriter who has earned a place amongst English/Spanish music’s most respected, accomplished & elite talents. He is also an accomplished vocal pedagogue and currently a visiting lecturer in contemporary voice at the University of Miami Frost School of Music.

In the course of his versatile career, songwriter/producer Willy Perez-Feria has worked with such music giants as Enrique Iglesias ,Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, The Bee Gees, Juan Luis Guerra, Inner Circle, James Brown, Julio Iglesias, Chayanne, Alejandro Fernandez, Alejandro Sanz, Paul Simon, Masayoshi Takanaka, Seiko Matsuda, Jose Luis Rodriguez (El Puma), Jimmy Buffet, Celia Cruz, Emanuelle, Tito Puente, Charlie Zaa, Shalim, Robert Blades, Alih Jey, Daniela Guzman, Felipe, Angels, Liliana Marquez, Raul Olivo, Nohe, Morgan Li & many others.

He has also collaborated on production projects with such notable music producers as Phil Ramone, Steve Morales, Emilio Estefan, Rick Wakeman, Jon Secada, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Clay Ostwald, Jorge Casas, George Noriega, Tim Mitchell, Randy Barlow, Tom McWilliams, Freddy Piñero, Robert Blades, Rey Sanchez, Zach Ziskin, Kike Santander, Jorge Luis Piloto, Mark Hudson & dear friend, superstar songwriter/producer Rudy Perez.

Along the way, as a producer and songwriter Perez-Feria has sold over 20 million records and won 5 Grammy Participation Awards for works that won the Grammy that year in their categories.

After earning a degree in Studio Music and Jazz-Vocal Performance in 1986 from the University of Miami School of Music, several of Perez-Feria’s co-compositions with fellow University of Miami graduate Jon Secada caught the attention of re-known music producer Emilio Estefan & that led to publishing contract that launched a long & happy 15 year collaboration between the two.

Perez-Feria worked extensively with artists Gloria Estefan and Jon Secada amongst many others as a featured songwriter / producer with Estefan Enterprises, amassing a wealth of experience and accolades along the way.

Perez-Feria has hundreds of songs on his FIPP/UMPG catalog. Among other accomplishments, he placed a song on Jon Secada’s English language debut album “Jon Secada” & two other songs on Jon Secada’s Debut Spanish language album “Otro Dia Mas Sin Verte” & those albums combined sold more than 11 million copies worldwide.
In fact, Perez- Feria has participated in albums that have collectively sold or downloaded an excess of 20 million records.

Perez-Feria has also twice contributed multiple compositions on albums that would go on to win Grammy’s Album of the Year in their respective categories. Perez-Feria wrote two songs on Jon Secada’s “Otro Dia Mas Sin Verte Grammy’s Latin Pop Album of the Year (1992) and three songs on Robert Blades’ “Encore” Grammy’s Salsa Album of the Year (2002).

In 2003, Perez-Feria signed an exclusive songwriting agreement with Universal Music Publishing issuing a new and exciting chapter in his music career and he has been with UMPG ever since. Perez-Feria completed work as a writer and producer on Jon Secada’s album SAME DREAM, contributing the title track & since then he’s worked with multi-talented singer/songwriter Alih Jey on Gotas De Piel, in which he participated in as both songwriter and producer, as well as producing & writing the debut pop song 30 Segundos for producer/songwriter and salsa music recording artist Robert Blades.

Since 2010, Perez-Feria has collaborated and/or placed songs with Nicolle Chirino, Cesar Franco, Angels, Ektor, Daniela Guzman, Raul Olivo, Nohe, Felipe & Morgan Li on recent projects. In 2011 Perez-Feria wrote & produced all 6 songs on the debut EP NO SOY IGUAL for independent recording artist Liliana Marquez.

In early 2012 he wrote & produced all 8 songs on the debut EP PHOENIX RISING for independent recording artist Vanessa Di Gennaro. Four of the eight songs on PHOENIX RISING feature the guest vocals of Perez-Feria’s longtime friend & collaborator Jon Secada. The first single from that project called LIKE A ROCK STAR (Featuring Jon Secada) is a YouTube smash hit video (Perez-Feria’s video project production debut) with over 2.4 million views in only 11 months of release & it’s on it’s way to going viral.

Perez-Feria has also contributed 5 songs as a songwriter/producer within the music program IDA (Inspire & Develop Music) led by superstar producer/songwriter Rudy Perez and featuring the mentorship of David Frangioni, Mark Hudson & Jon Secada. First as Director of IDA and recently as an invited songwriter/producer. Perez-Feria has composed & produced 9 completely original songs for young, independent, unsigned artists participating in the IDA Program since 2012. Recently, Perez-Feria produced an 8 song EP of fun, high energy fitness children’s music called StarCISE for Coach Maxine (Maxine Haber) and wrote KNOW YOUR NAME a new mid-tempo sweet ballad for Miami based singing sensation EnVee as well as writing/producing the smash debut EP of Texas based pop artist Vee Gonzalez.

Recently he also produced and co-wrote the debut EP’s and LP’s of hip hop artist/rapper Miguel Fasa, R&B singer/songwriter Michelle Martinez and young folk/pop singer/songwriting sensation Taylor Castro on behalf of PMA Productions. All 3 projects were released in 2017 to wide acclaim and a total of 21 songs from all 3 projects have been placed and secured sync licenses on Lifetime Channel motion pictures “Boyfriend Killer”, “Girlfriend Killer”, “Killer Island” and “Dream Killer”.

Perez-Feria has also participated in the hit records of pop superstar Enrique Iglesias as a featured performer on more then 11 smash hits including the most successful song of the 21st Century, “BAILANDO” , “DUELE EL CORAZON” and “SUBEME LA RADIO” all co-produced by superstar producer and good friend Carlos Paucar.

Willy Perez-Feria spent 2 years as the Director of A&R at PMA Records, guiding the careers of young English language pop stars Taylor Castro, Carson Rowland, Miguel Fasa and Michelle Martinez as well as producing and co-writing many of the songs they release before becoming the Chief Operating Officer and A&R Director for Grippa Music Group LLC, guiding the career of the teenage artist phenom GRIPPA, managing her day to day as well as overseeing the day to day of all aspects of the record label.
